Baraba (Garcinia intermedia), also called lemon-drop mangosteen, is a small tropical fruit with smooth yellow, orange, or red skin and juicy white pulp. It has a sweet-tart flavor, like lychee with a hint of citrus, and is enjoyed fresh or in juices, jams, and pickles. The fast-growing tree thrives in warm, sunny climates and bears fruit within 1–2 years.
